Approval of System Safety Program Plan and Title VI Plan for Orange County Public <br /> Transportation <br /> The Board approved an updated System Safety Program Plan and Title VI Plan for Orange <br /> County Public Transportation (OCPT) based on a North Carolina Department of Transportation <br /> requirement that all transit agencies have an updated safety security program plan and Title VI <br /> plan approved by the governing board. <br /> o. Greater Triangle Commuter Rail Study— Next Steps <br /> The Board adopted a resolution, which is incorporated by reference, receiving the results of the <br /> Greater Triangle Commuter Rail (GTCR) study and deferring additional study for Orange <br /> county sections. <br /> 9. Closed Session <br /> Bonnie Hammersley said the Economic Development and the Land Acquisition items <br /> could be moved to another date, due to lack of being time sensitive. <br /> A motion was made by Commissioner Greene, seconded by Commissioner Marcoplos <br /> to go into closed session at 10:02 p.m. for the purpose below: <br /> "Pursuant to G.S. § 143-318.11(a)(3) "to consult with an attorney retained by the Board in <br /> order to preserve the attorney-client privilege between the attorney and the Board." <br /> VOTE: UNANIMOUS <br /> RECONVENE INTO REGULAR SESSION <br />
