Proceed with Option #2 to include space for the Southern Branch Library <br /> ➢ Direct staff to amend the draft Amended Agreement to be considered at a later <br /> date. <br /> Budget Adjustments in the FY2020-25 Capital Investment Plan to Reflect Either Option <br /> Commissioner Price asked if the BOCC were to select Option 1- with the Skills <br /> Development Center- can the County break its lease with the Europa Center. <br /> Travis Myren said yes, it is an initial 3-year term, with the option to extend. <br /> Commissioner Price referred to the parking, and asked if it is based on Carrboro's <br /> existing zoning. She asked if there has been any thought of modifying that requirement, and <br /> encouraging people to use the public transportation. <br /> Travis Myren said there has been a specific conversation about library parking, and <br /> there are 50 spaces dedicated to the library, which is in the development agreement. He said if <br /> the Board wanted to re-visit this issue, it could do so. <br /> Commissioner Price asked if parking will be needed for the Skills Development Center. <br /> Travis Myren asked Steve Arndt, Asset Management Services Director, if the 33 spaces <br /> for the Skills Development Center are based on town ordinance. <br />
