Purpose: <br /> The goal of the Roofing Project is to repair/replace the existing roofing systems for the facilities <br /> as outlined below. <br /> II. Background: <br /> a. Motor Pool: The Orange County Motor Pool Building located at 600 Highway 86 North, <br /> Hillsborough NC was built in 1996. Orange County Transportation Services Motor Pool <br /> occupies this location. There are additional County facilities located on the same parcel that <br /> are not included within this project. <br /> b. Orange County Sportsplex Main Building: <br /> The Orange County Sportsplex is located at 101 Meadowlands Drive, Hillsborough NC. The <br /> Sportsplex was built in 1995 and had an addition added on in 2005. The facility is managed <br /> and maintained by Recreation Factory Partners. The Jerry M Passmore Center and the Soltys <br /> Adult Day Center were added to this site and are not included within this scope of work. <br /> III. Scope of Services For: <br /> Motor Pool: 600 Hwy 86 North <br /> Sportsplex Main Building: 101 Meadowlands Dr. <br /> Provide a full design for a complete roofing system to include all associated roof top <br /> materials, including but not limited to: Equipment curbing, Flashing, Vent Boots, <br /> Lightening protection and certification. <br /> The Project Budget (including all fees): <br /> • Orange County Motor Pool: $180,500 <br /> • Sportsplex Main Building: $150,000 <br /> The above project budgets are the total project budgets by itemized project and include all design <br /> costs, permitting, construction, and owner contingency. <br />
