School Sites 1 <br />The middle school site is based on the NC Public School Facility Standards which <br />requires that a middle school have a minimum of 1 S usable acres plus one usable acre per <br />each 100 average daily membership (AD1V1). Therefore the minimum school site fora 700 <br />student middle school is 22 usable acres. <br />3. Classrooms and Associated <br />Storage Basic School - 32,SOU sq. ft. <br />Tier B -Add 2,550 sq. irt. <br />The Basic School includes classrooms at the upper end of the range provided by the State <br />Department of Public Instruction. The lazger classrooms. allow technology to be <br />integrated into the classrooms. Regular Classrooms are based on 1,000 squaze feet per <br />classroom, science classrooms and Exceptional Education Classrooms are each 1,200 <br />square. feet per classroom.
