DocuSign Envelope ID:AF1 B9888-EC74-4806-AFBC-CD9FA67BA71 E <br /> NORTH CAROLINA <br /> ORANGE COUNTY CONTRACT AMENDMENT #1 <br /> THIS CONTRACT AMENDMENT ("Amendment") is made and entered into by <br /> and between ORANGE COUNTY (hereinafter referred to as "County") and Laura <br /> Casey (hereinafter referred to as "Contractor") and effective 16th day of March <br /> 2020. <br /> WITNESSETH: <br /> THAT WHEREAS, the County and Contractor entered into a contract dated <br /> September 20, 2019 (internally designated as 2019-655 and otherwise titled as <br /> Creative Arts), to provide instruction for youth art classes one meeting a week at the <br /> Central Recreation Center (hereinafter the "Original Agreement"); and <br /> WHEREAS, the County and Contractor desire to modify the Original Agreement while <br /> keeping in effect all terms and conditions of the Original Agreement not inconsistent <br /> with the terms and conditions set forth below. <br /> NOW THEREFORE, for and in consideration for the mutual covenants and <br /> agreements made in the Original Agreement and herein, the parties agree to amend <br /> the Original Agreement as follows: <br /> 1. Replace the term from "October 3, 2019 to June 25, 2019" to "October 3, <br /> 2019 to June 25, 2020". <br /> 2. Replace the maximum amount payable in Section 1 Payment from "one <br /> thousand, three hundred and eleven dollars , ($1,311.00)" to "one thousand, <br /> five hundred and fifty dollars, ($1,550.00)" <br /> 3.
