DocuSign Envelope ID:AF1 B9888-EC74-4806-AFBC-CD9FA67BA71 E NORTH CAROLINA ORANGE COUNTY CONTRACT AMENDMENT #1 THIS CONTRACT AMENDMENT ("Amendment") is made and entered into by and between ORANGE COUNTY (hereinafter referred to as "County") and Laura Casey (hereinafter referred to as "Contractor") and effective 16th day of March 2020. WITNESSETH: THAT WHEREAS, the County and Contractor entered into a contract dated September 20, 2019 (internally designated as 2019-655 and otherwise titled as Creative Arts), to provide instruction for youth art classes one meeting a week at the Central Recreation Center (hereinafter the "Original Agreement"); and WHEREAS, the County and Contractor desire to modify the Original Agreement while keeping in effect all terms and conditions of the Original Agreement not inconsistent with the terms and conditions set forth below. NOW THEREFORE, for and in consideration for the mutual covenants and agreements made in the Original Agreement and herein, the parties agree to amend the Original Agreement as follows: 1. Replace the term from "October 3, 2019 to June 25, 2019" to "October 3, 2019 to June 25, 2020". 2. Replace the maximum amount payable in Section 1 Payment from "one thousand, three hundred and eleven dollars , ($1,311.00)" to "one thousand, five hundred and fifty dollars, ($1,550.00)" 3. Except for the changes made herein, the Original Agreement shall remain in full force and effect to the extent it is not inconsistent with this Amendment.
