Franklin Street to <br />Brokerage Resources, Inc. since July 1, 2000. Brokerage Resources desires to renew <br />the lease for an additional year, through June 30, 2002. As the Board has previously <br />suggested, County staff routinely checks any requests for space submitted by non- <br />profit agencies prior to renewing or executing new leases for property at this location. <br />There is na such request pending at this time. The terms of the lease renewal as <br />follows: <br />• Lease term to commence July 1, 2001 through 12:00 midnight June 30, 2002; <br />• Lease amount : $1,140.00 per month <br />• Taxes-in-lieu of $100 per month. <br />• Tenant is allowed to park on site as part of lease. Parking to be in common <br />with other tenants; no dedicated spaces. <br />• Tenant to pay all utilities; <br />• Tenant to maintain building interior, including cleaning; <br />• County will provide maintenance to the exterior of the building, parking lot, etc. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: County shall receive $13,680 per year for the leased space, <br />plus taxes-in-lieu of $1,200 per year. <br />RECOMMENDATION(S): The Manager recommends that the Board approve aone- <br />yearlease for Suite 105 at 501 W. Franklin Street, commencing July 1, 2001 through <br />June 30, 2002 with Brokerage Resources, Inc., for a rental amount of $13,680 per <br />year, plus taxes-in-lieu of $1,200 per year; and authorize the Chair to sign on behalf of <br />the Board. <br />
