The Engineer has endeavored to perform its services in accordance <br /> with generally accepted standards of practice in effect at the time of <br /> performance. The Client recognizes that neither the Engineer nor any of the <br /> Engineer's consultants or contractors owes and fiduciary responsibility to the <br /> Client. <br /> 12) OWNERSHIP <br /> These permit documents will be prepared under contract for a specific project <br /> and will remain the intellectual property of the Engineer. These documents are <br /> not to be used for any other purpose without the express written approval of <br /> BDG. <br /> This Contract is to be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the <br /> State of North Carolina.
