The contract this year remains at .70 FTE services. Back-up services are <br />also included in the contract for vacation and sick coverage. The contract amount is $115,500 <br />for the year and represents a 5% increase. This is due to salary increases and the back-up <br />costs for physicians that will actually be serving the department. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: The contract for FY 2000-2001 was $110,000 and the proposed contract <br />for FY 2001-2002 is $115,500. This represents .70 FTE of a physician's time including medical <br />back-up. This amount has been included in the department's requested budget for FY 2001- <br />2002. <br />RECOMMENDATION(S): The Manager recommends that the Board approve the agreement <br />subject to the approval of the 2001-2002 budget and the attorney's review, and authorize the <br />Chair to sign. <br />
