Greene Tract— Presentation and Discussion on Managers/Mayors/ Chair Proposal <br /> The Greene Tract is a 104-acre parcel jointly by Orange County, the Town of Carrboro, and the <br /> Town of Chapel Hill. An additional 60 acres is owned by Orange County and has been <br /> designated for preservation as the Headwaters Preserve. The Greene Tract is located within <br /> the Town of Chapel Hill's extraterritorial zoning jurisdiction. In 2002, the joint owners adopted a <br /> resolution to designate 86 acres for open space and 18 acres for affordable housing. No <br /> development has occurred on the jointly owned property since the adoption of the 2002 <br /> Resolution. <br />
