Year-to-Date Budget <br /> Summary <br /> PURPOSE: To approve budget and grant project ordinance amendments for fiscal year 2019- <br /> 20. <br /> BACKGROUND: <br /> Department on Aging <br /> 1. The Department on Aging has received the following revenue to its FY 2019-20 budget: <br /> • State Senior Center General Purpose Funds — receipt of $21,148 from the N.C. <br /> General Assembly through the Triangle J Area Agency on Aging to be used to <br /> cover temporary personnel and program supplies at the Passmore and Seymour <br /> Senior Centers. <br /> • Facilities Rental — receipt of $2,000 for various building rentals of the Seymour <br /> and Passmore Centers, used to pay for temporary staff to work at these rentals. <br /> • Fitness Studio — anticipated receipt of $5,000 in Fitness Studio fees to pay for <br /> class instructors. <br /> • Wellness Classes — anticipated receipt of $10,000 in wellness class fees to pay <br /> for instructors and related class expenses. These funds will be appropriated in the <br /> Annual Grant Fund, outside of the General Fund. <br /> This budget amendment provides for the receipt of these additional funds, and amends <br /> the current Senior Citizen Health Promotion Wellness Grant Project Ordinance as <br /> follows: <br /> Senior Citizen Health Promotion Wellness Grant($10,000) - Project#294303 <br /> Revenues for this project: <br /> Current FY 2019-20 FY 2019-20 <br /> FY 2019-20 Amendment Revised <br /> Senior Citizen Wellness Funds $153,155 $10,000 $163,155 <br /> Total Project Funding $153,155 $10,000 $163,155 <br />
