An additional 60 acres is owned by Orange County and has been <br /> 45 designated for preservation as the Headwaters Preserve. The Greene Tract is located within <br /> 46 the Town of Chapel Hill's extraterritorial zoning jurisdiction. In 2002, the joint owners adopted a <br /> 47 resolution to designate 86 acres for open space and 18 acres for affordable housing. No <br /> 48 development has occurred on the jointly owned property since the adoption of the 2002 <br /> 49 Resolution. <br /> 50 <br />
