Revised 11/19 <br />3 <br /> <br />3. Basic Services <br /> <br />a. Basic Services. The Services to be rendered pursuant to this Agreement are as follows <br />(fully describe services to be provided): landscaping, mowing and aerating services for <br />the grounds at the Solid Waste Administration Building located at 1207 Eubanks Rd., <br />Chapel Hill, NC as set forth on the Scope of Services set forth on the attached Exhibit A. <br />Landscaping and Mowing Service shall be provided during the months of March- <br />November of each calandar year. Landscape and Mowing Service shall be as needed <br />during each of those month but shall not be less than twice per month. No Landscape <br />and Mowing services shall be performed during December, January or February of each <br />year. Provider will notify the County representative listed in Paragraph 6 a of this <br />agreement at least one business day before performing any Landscape and Mowing <br />Services. Said notice shall be by e-mail. Aerating Service shall be provided once in <br />March and once in October of each year. <br /> <br />4. Duration of Services <br /> <br />a. Term. The term of this Agreement shall be from March 1, 2020 to June 30, 2020 and <br />will automatically renew for three one year periods (July 1, 2020-June 30, 2021; July 1, <br />2021-June 30, 2022; and July 1, 2022-June 30, 2023) unless terminated as set forth in <br />Paragraph 10 of this Agreement. <br /> <br />b. Scheduling of Services. <br />i) The Provider shall schedule and perform its activities in a timely manner. <br /> <br />ii) Should the County determine that the Provider is behind schedule, it may require <br />the Provider to expedite and accelerate its efforts, including providing additional <br />resources and working overtime, as necessary, to perform its services in <br />accordance with the approved project schedule at no additional cost to the <br />County. <br /> <br />iii) The Commencement Date for the Provider's Basic Services shall be March 1, <br />2020. <br /> <br />5. Compensation <br /> <br />a. Compensation for Basic Services. Compensation for Basic Services shall include all <br />compensation due the Provider from the County for all services satisfactorily (as <br />determined by the County) performed pursuant to this Agreement. The maximum <br />amount payable for Basic Services shall not exceed for Landscaping and Mowing <br />Services Six Hundred Dollars ($600.00) per month for each month of March through <br />November and for each Aerating Service Four Hundred Dollars ($400.00) Total annual <br />cost shall not exceed Six Thousand Two Hundred Dollars ($6,200.00). Payment for <br />satisfactorily performed Basic Services shall become due and payable within thirty (30) <br />days of Provider properly invoicing County.
