CTC Proposal to Orange County – Public Works to Animal Services <br />Page 27 <br /> <br />Carroll Clift | Senior OSP Engineer <br /> <br />Carroll is a telecommunication engineer with more than 40 years of professional experience. He <br />has planned and designed fiber optic and SONET-based networking projects for governments and <br />large businesses, FTTP fiber projects throughout Maryland. <br /> <br />Carroll served as an outside plant engineer at CTC for the Inter-County Broadband Network <br />(ICBN) project; throughout that three-year project, he was responsible for aerial, underground <br />fiber network route design. and fiber assignment. He conducts walk-outs of network paths to <br />ensure that designs were viable; procured all materials needed for construction; and provided <br />oversight of construction and installation crews. Carroll has designed fiber routes on the Anne <br />Arundel County FTTP project. <br /> <br />Carroll currently is engineering fiber routes for the County of Westminster FTTP project. Working <br />Closely with local utility companies in designing the most economical aerial or buried path <br />through the County of Westminster. <br /> <br />Prior to joining CTC Carroll worked for Verizon Communications.
