The first order of business we have to accomplish this 23 <br />evening is to elect a new Vice Chair before we take any further action. 24 <br />Susan Halkiotis nominated Randy Herman as the new Vice Chair. 25 <br />Michael Harvey: Are there any other nominees? 26 <br />Michael Harvey: As there do not appear to be any other nominees do we have a motion to make Mr. Herman the new 27 <br />Vice Chair for the Board of Adjustment. 28 <br />Motion was made by Susan Halkiotis, seconded by Leon Meyers, to make Randy Herman the new Vice Chair. There 29 <br />was no further discussion and the motion passed unanimously. 30 <br />31 <br />AGENDA ITEM 3: APPROVAL OF MINUTES – October 14, 2019 32 <br />33 <br />Leon Meyer: If the Board will allow, I would like to make a motion to move the minutes to after we conduct the public 34 <br />hearing. With the number of people here tonight we should delay action on the minutes until the public hearing is 35 <br />concluded.36 <br />37 <br />The motion was seconded by Barry Katz. There was no further discussion and the motion was approved unanimously. 38 <br />The agenda was amended making the minutes Agenda Item 5-A. 39 <br />40 <br />AGENDA ITEM 4: PUBLIC CHARGE 41 <br />42 <br />Randy Herman read the public charge.43 <br />44 <br />The Board of Adjustment pledges to the citizens of Orange County its respect. The Board asks its citizens to 45 <br />conduct themselves in a respectful, courteous manner, both with the Board and with fellow citizens. At any time 46 <br />should any member of the Board or any citizen fail to observe this public charge, the Chair will ask the offending 47 <br />
