Have already completed some and others are <br /> scheduled. If you haven' t been monitored in a few years, you may be contacted about this . <br /> • Programs should have received the new monthly report to start using . Please provide <br /> feedback. <br /> • In December would like to meet with monitoring committee to provide training so they are <br /> prepared to monitor in January and can make a good recommendation back to the full <br /> council <br /> Guest Presentation — Tom McQuiston, Youth Community Project (up to age 18) <br /> Youth Community Project is a new initiative still getting off the ground in Carrboro and <br /> working to build community partnerships . Have a vision of all youth coming together in a i <br /> holistic way and not isolating any sub-groups of youth community and building connections <br /> across groups . Program is almost entirely volunteer run and so there is no cost to the youth for <br /> services/programming. <br /> Project has a number of different programs and he is here today to speak about the <br /> Reintegration Support Network (RSN) . RSN has been receiving referrals from DJJ for youth <br /> post-treatment (mental health & substance abuse) to engage them in building community <br /> networks of support.
