17. Housing <br />a. Dick White reported that the Housing Coalition is meeting 2nd Friday of every month. Working to identify <br />issues in the County and who is responsible for addressing the issue. Greenfield Commons is a special <br />place; they are having an open house and it is worth visiting. They have a successful approach to <br />affordable housing. <br />b. Cherie Rosemond reported that the community group out of Northside neighborhood created and <br />produced an affordable housing musical. The musical was performed in front of a sold out crowd. Carol <br />Woods has funded a proposal called Peewee Homes to help fund seniors at high risk of homelessness to <br />secure dedicated Peewee housing units. Seeking architect to design. Jenny Womack will serve as a <br />consultant to be sure the building is accessible for all ages and ablilities. Learn more at <br />www.peeweehomes.org. <br />18. Friends of the Passmore Center - Janice reported that they hosted a trip to Myrtle Beach last week which <br />everyone enjoyed. <br />19.
