Additionally, the managers and <br /> their staffs will also be discussing the funding relationships for the park . <br /> Attached for BOLD consideration are a ) a resolution oonceming the potential Durham grant , <br /> b ) a memo from the DOST requesting Orange County approval of its forthcoming grant <br /> r9oomrnendsticn , c) a map of the tittle River Regional Park shoving potential bike trail <br /> locations , d ) the DOM130 grant application, and e) a brochure about Durham' s Matching <br /> Grant Program , <br /> FINANCIAL IMPS CT4. They Durham - Orange Mountain Bike Organization (DOMBO ) has <br /> requested $4 , 166 from Durham County for suppiies and rnaterleIs to 40 used for hike trail <br /> conBtru cthn . The proposed grant would be matched whh an in-kind contribution of $ 4 , 620 <br /> worth of volunteer labor for trail construction and m a intena noe . No Orange County funds <br /> would be expended as a resuft of this action . Orange County staff would , however, monitor <br /> the trail constmalon along with Durham County staff to mare sure it is done consistent with <br /> the approved site plan for the park , <br /> RECI MMENDATIONCS : The Manager recommends that the Board adopt the resolution <br /> agreeing to the potential awarding of Durham County funds for the future construction of <br /> mountain bike trails in the Little Rivi r Regional Park and Natural Area , wikh the <br /> understanding (as stated ) that no construction of Neils shall occur until after a site plan is <br /> approved by both county boards . <br />
