Sue Millager and Sunita Driehuys were present <br /> and introduced themselves and board members talked about the purpose and operation of the ASAB. <br /> On this basis, the ASAB unanimously recommends these individuals to the Board of County <br /> Commissioners for appointment to the ASAB to fill two vacancies: <br /> • Sue Millager (for position 3--Town of Carrboro): Ms. Millager previously served on the ASAB <br /> and she has also been a volunteer and kitten foster home for Animal Services. Animal Services <br /> Advisory Board previously. She has a long term interest in the welfare of animals and humans in <br /> our area. She attended the January ASAB meeting. <br /> • Sunita Driehuys, DVM (position 2—community veterinarian): Dr. Driehuys has long been a <br /> veterinarian in Chapel Hill and volunteers to perform cat sterilizations with Independent Animal <br /> Rescue. Currently, she owns and operates Chapel Hill Mobile Veterinary Housecalls, which <br /> provides in home veterinary care for dogs and cats. She is a member of the American <br /> Veterinary Medical Association and North Carolina Veterinary Medical Association. She is also <br /> Canine/Feline certified by the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners.
