<br /> • The need for a bond referendum to address the current parkland deficit.

<br /> Report of the Joint Master Recreation and Parks Work Group (.19991 = 1999 JMRP report
<br /> Both the 1997 Coordination Report and the 1999 JMRP Report suggest that parks
<br /> collaboration be pursued , with the County as lead entity for coordination and
<br /> administration . At the 1997 Assembly of Governments meeting , staffs were
<br /> asked to further develop ideas for joint parks efforts by the jurisdictions and
<br /> report back at a future Assembly of Governments meeting ,
<br /> In addition to these reports, there is a related document worthy of note . The
<br /> Memoranda of Agreement for Providing Coordinated Site and Facility
<br /> Planning ( originated by the Schools and Land Use Councils) provide an impetus
<br /> for co- location of public facilities where possible . The Memoranda of Agreement
<br /> are provided as Appendix 5 .
