I was on the Board of Aldermen in Carrboro for 9 years and <br /> served on various committees including the Orange County Visitors Bureau, Carrboro Parks and <br /> Recreation Commission, and Sister Cities. I previously served on the OUTBoard from its <br /> inception in 2005 until 2012, working with DOT to develop the Orange County CTP <br /> (Comprehensive Transportation Plan). OWASA <br /> provides leadership and direction, expertise, and recommendations but policy decisions must be <br /> approved by the gov ts.
