RESOURCE ASSESSMENT SUBCOMMITTEE MASTERS AND RECREATIONE Meeting Sununwy June 17, 1999 Government Services Center Conference Room billsborough Attendees: Margaret Brown, Judson Edebum, Berry Jacobs, Wendy Olsen, Renee Price, Bill Strom, Wendy Weiher, Bob Jones (Orange County Recreation and Parks), Sarah Magruder and Dave Stencil (Orange County Planning) The luncheon meeting was the first for the Resource Subcommittee and was used to brainstorm ideas concerning possible future deliverables to produce for the Board of Commissioners and entire Work Group. Several agencies were represented, including Duke Forest, Town of Hillsborough, Orange County Recreation and Parks, Orange County Planning, and the OWASA Board of Directors . While discussing short-term issues and action items, the Committee also conferred on longer term products . Listed below are general action items, specific action items for the June 24th Work Group meeting, and long term items to produce. Lastly, an update meeting was scheduled for July 15th at noon in the same location, (Orange County Government Services Center Conference Room, Hillsborough) General Action Items i Inventory private recreational facilities throughout Orange County and municipalities within • Update public recreational facility inventory of Orange County and municipalities by developing a resource template database and asking each municipality to update their information in the given form Ask the Orange County Visitor' s Bureau to attend future Work.
