Future Development of Northern Community Park <br /> At its September 28 , 1998 Council adopted the following <br /> actions ; 1 ) from FY98 - 99 budget appropriated for conceptual <br /> plan process of aquatic facility/ community centers and 2 ) <br /> $ 200 , 000 in Town park bonds allocated for development of <br /> batting cage project . Possible development a . aquatic facility , b . <br /> Community Center . <br /> b . Future Development of Southern Community Park <br /> • No Council decisions made at this point , except soccer field at <br /> school <br /> • No conceptual plan at this , point <br /> Staff and the Town Parks & Recreation Commission will soon <br /> recommend a parks and recreation master plan process that will : <br /> • Identify community leisure needs , values <br /> • Clarify/ revise Department mission <br /> • Perhaps develop community standards for park and recreation <br /> planning/ development <br /> 3 .
