Alternative Sources <br /> The means and methods , of funding future recreation and parks - needs - <br /> may involve . a number of approaches and combinations . As discussed <br /> in Section III , a coordinated approach for capital funding of <br /> acquisitions might be desirable . Some possibilities for funding sources <br /> might include : <br /> • Bond referenda from the County or Towns <br /> • Grants from. ,programs such as the . NC Parrs and Recreation Trust <br /> Fund , the . Natural- Heritage Trust Fund ( via state agencies ) , the . <br /> Clean Water Management Trust Fund , Conservation Reserve . <br /> Enhancement Program , and other sources ( add exam-pies ) <br /> • Allocations from. local government general: funds or special accounts <br /> • Contributions from other agencies with interests <br /> • Matching funds from local governments <br /> • Payment- in - Lieu or New Program of funding through development <br /> ( see Sections VI and VII ) : or.
