A The work group developed the following recommendations for Orange County and its municipalities in its recreation planning , which were presented to the Assembly of Governments . • Set standards based on ranking with other Triangle Area counties . Determine type of park and recreation facilities to be surveyed . Develop mechanism for annual review of park and facilities standards by all jurisdictions . • Develop an interjurisdictional set of recreation requirements that Orange County , Chapel Hill , Carrboro , and Hillsborough could include in their respective Land Use Ordinances inclusion of ark facilities in selecting new school Plan thep t g sites , while improving existing sites with recreation and park amenities where it is %omutually beneficial to the school system and governmental jurisdiction (s ) .
