Additional Materials from the Commission for the Environment <br /> Please find attached a document entitled the State of the Environment Report . <br /> These are status reports , issues and proposals compiled from the Commission for <br /> the Environment over the past few months , consistent with the adopted goal for <br /> Natural Resources . <br /> The intent of the Commission is to spruce up this three - pronged report as a 1st <br /> annual State of the Environment report, which would be released in February by <br /> the Commission with a press release . <br /> We are providing this to you today for two primary reasons . <br /> 1 . We have learned today that a local newspaper reporter plans to do a story on <br /> some of the Commission 's findings ( the report was part of the Commission 's <br /> January 10 agenda ) . <br /> 2 .
