COMMUNICATION EQUIPMENT <br /> Communication equipment which would be considered a <br /> principal use , such as radi prnc o or TV transmitting towers <br /> and cellular telephone towers , are not permitted . <br /> Communication equipment which is accessory to the <br /> principal use would be allowed as follows : <br /> a ) Dish antennas would be allowed on the ground or on <br /> roof - tops . If on the ground , landscape screening <br /> would be required . If on the roof , screening would <br /> be accomplished through architectural design of the <br /> isibility of the antennas <br /> roof . In both cases , v <br /> would be minimized . <br /> b ) Tower antennas would be allowed on the ground or on <br /> roof - tops , with a height limit of 15 feet . Higher <br /> towers would require approval of a Special Use <br /> Permit . <br /> Page 3 . 1 . 7 of the Design Manual addresses the use of <br /> towers and antennas . The text is proposed to be modified <br /> as indicated by the following crossed - out / underlined <br /> text , and would apply in all EDD districts . <br />
