For structures that exceed 45 feet , two feet of <br /> additional setback must be provided for every one foot of <br /> building height over 45 feet . <br /> Exterior Finish Materials <br /> Exterior materials must have an attractive texture , pattern <br /> or quality of detailing . Acceptable building materials <br /> include those which appear natural in texture and color such <br /> as stone , unpainted brick , wood , and textured concrete . <br /> Siding must reflect in texture and color that which is <br /> typical of the area and region . <br /> Roof lines <br /> Nearly vertical roofs ( A - frames ) and piecemeal mansard roofs <br /> ( used on a portion of the building perimeter only ) must not <br /> be utilized . Mansard roofs must wrap around the entire <br /> perimeter of the structure . <br /> All mechanical equipment must be located below the highest <br /> vertical element of the building . With the exception of <br /> standing rib metal roofs and copper roofs , the following roof <br /> materials must not be used : <br /> Corrugated metal ; <br /> Highly reflective surfaces ; and <br /> Illuminated roofing . <br /> Natural aluminum frames are prohibited . Support solar <br /> equipment must be enclosed and screened from view . <br /> Rooftop radio , TV , and microwave antennas and towers are <br /> prohibited . <br />
