In all ED Districts within a designated water supply watershed , the first half- inch of stormwater runoff from <br /> impervious surfaces shall be controlled . ( as may be amended <br /> 2 . Building types , parking layouts , etc , must be selected and located with respect to the natural topography <br /> to minimize grading and preserve sensitive areas . <br /> 3 . The rate of runoff from the site must not be increased over pre - development conditions . <br /> 4 . The stormwater management system must respect existing drainage patterns . <br /> 5 . Energy dissipaters such as rip rap aprons and other site features must be used where runoff is collected <br /> and discharged ; e . g . , at downspouts from rooftops and storm drains at parking areas . <br /> 6 . Conflicts between on - site drainage and other features must be avoided ; e . g . , drainage > across sidewalks <br /> or ponding in parking /service areas . <br /> Water Supply & Sewage Disposal : <br /> 1 . In LO - 2 areas only , where ground absorption systems and /or wells are used for sewage disposal and /or <br /> water supply , the installation of such facilities must comply with all local and state regulations governing <br /> their design , construction , operation , and maintenance . <br /> 2 . Public water and sewer shall be within all EDD areas except LO - 2 areas (40 , 000 sf minimum ) . <br /> 3 . Each comprehensive site development plan must therefore be accompanied by documentation from the <br /> utility provider that it has reviewed and approved : <br /> • Preliminary plans for the proposed water and / or sewer lines ; <br /> • The adequacy of the existing system (s) to which the connection (s) will be made ; <br /> • The capacity of the existing water and sewer treatment facilities ; <br /> • The carrying capacity of the discharge stream or discharge point ; and <br /> • The method of funding proposed extensions of water and sewer lines . <br /> • Certified Contract/Agreement between utility provider and applicant . <br /> 4 . Documentation must be submitted that there is adequate water flow and pressure to meet required <br /> fireflow and fire suppression . <br /> 5 <br />
