No other businesses have such care at this time <br /> • Orange County has appropriated funds to use as seed money to encourage private <br /> sector involvement in the provision of day care. <br /> HUM 211nmma Develop a major public relations campaign that focuses on eliminating <br /> child abuse and spousal abuse and promoting positive family relationships . <br /> • DSS and other community organizations work well together to provide <br /> information to the public about family issues <br /> • Healthy Carolinians focuses on some of these issues <br /> • DSS provides information and speakers at numerous community events <br /> • Community Child Protection Team provides information on prevention to the <br /> public <br /> • Special events such as the Blue Ribbon campaign also increase awareness <br /> HUM 2 - 3b Develop relationships between the public safety providers and other <br /> service providers who have special ties to those populations <br /> DSS has strong and effective working relationships with all public safety <br /> providers, particularly as related to the protection of children and vulnerable adults <br /> HUM 3 - 5 Provide appropriate work opportunities for seniors to re - enter the labor <br /> market <br /> No action by DSS <br /> HUM 4 - 1 Focus local policies , priorities and funds on creating a health environment <br /> for residents and on promoting health behaviors . Policies and funding should support : <br /> D .
