A contract with a firm that can provide <br />comprehensive landfill engineering services has historically allowed those needs to be <br />addressed in a timely and budget conscious manner. In recent years, under previous contracts <br />of a similar nature, the County has obtained the following types of general engineering <br />consulting services: <br />o Review Technical Proposals <br />o Media Support for Meetings <br />o Groundwater Monitoring and Reporting <br />o Capacity Calculations <br />o Financial Assurance <br />o Post Closure Reporting <br />o Closure Plans/Certifications <br />o Permit Modifications <br />o Calculations of NMOC Emissions <br />o Feasibility Evaluations <br />o Drainage/Erosion Control Plans <br />o Landfill Permitting <br />o Waste Characterizations <br />o General Technical Advising, Drafting, <br />o Master Plan Preparation/Drawings <br />and Regulation Interpretations <br />
