These amendments are scheduled for Planning Board <br />27 recommendation on December 4, 2019 and for BOCC public hearing on January 21, 2020 <br />28 <br />29 PRESENTER:Michael Harvey, Current Planning Supervisor <br />30 <br />31 Michael Harvey reviewed the proposed amendments to the UDO and provided background <br />32 information. <br />33 <br />34 Hunter Spitzer: After the permits are issued, what is the staff¶s and County¶s responsibilities? <br />35 <br />36 Michael Harvey: Our responsibility is to continue to inspect the sites, in some cases, on a <br />37 weekly basis to ensure compliance to the erosion control plan. <br />38 <br />39 Hunter Spitzer: That is spelled out on a permit by permit basis? <br />40 <br />41 Michael Harvey: Yes, and no it¶s not the same per permit. It depends on the nature of the <br />42 development. <br />43 <br />44 Hunter Spitzer: I have a comment about the consideration of past performance. <br />45 <br />46 Michael Harvey: That¶s a state rule but I¶d like to hear your comment <br />47 <br />48 Hunter Spitzer: So the state rule is that an applicant¶s record may be considered for up to two <br />49 years prior to the application date, it seems that if we are extending the erosion control, we <br />50 would extend that as well ± to five years. <br />51
