(The Law <br />Rules for Sewage Treatment and Disposal Systems) <br />The design flow, type system, and pump requirement are subject to change based upon the application and site plan or plat submittec <br />the Construction Authorization. <br />The blocked areas on the accompanying plat are the limits of the provisionally suitable soils as evaluated by the Orange County Hea <br />Department. <br />It should be noted that all lots having aconventional-type drain field with pump are reviewed at a minimum of every five years by th <br />health department as required by 15 A NCAC 18A .1961 (Maintenance of Sewage Systems). <br />Ultra Shallow Trench Conventional Systems are placed in areas with 24 inches or more of provisionally suitable characteristics and <br />inch soil cap is placed over the trenches. <br />Shallow Trench Conventional Systems are placed in areas with 30 inches or more of provisionally suitable characteristics.. <br />Conventional Systems are placed in areas with 3G inches or more of provisionally suitable characteristics. <br />The a raved se tic areas should be ke t free of vehicular trafhc to in rndin and ¢om actin activities. It is the respon: <br />of the property owner or developer to maintain the integrity of the septic areas prior to system construction and installation.
