We propose to remove this roof section and replace it with new <br />Heavy (3/4” butt) Treated certified cedar shake shingles fastened with stainless steel nails <br />(equivalent to Hot Dipped Galvanized 153/D) and weaved between each layer with cedar <br />specific 18” felt underlayment. <br />All new 16oz copper flashing to be custom fabricated and installed including an extra custom <br />drip edge. The ridge line will be identical to the original detail (from the French” faitage en <br />lignolet”). <br /> <br />Our price for the above outlined work is $12,123.00 plus 7.5% tax ($909.22) for a total of <br />$13,032.22 <br /> <br /> <br />Norwood Jones Law Office: <br /> <br />The South side of this roof shows extensive warping and several shingles have come loose. We <br />propose to replace the entire roof for this building. Similarly, to the Dickson House, we will <br />replace the existing cedar shake shingles with Heavy ¾” butt treated shake, stainless steel nails <br />and 18” felt weaved between each row. <br />All new 16oz copper flashing will be installed around the chimney and new copper drip edge <br />installed. <br />The gutter hangers will be reused and installed under the new shingles. Those gutters will be <br />adjusted as needed during the process. <br /> <br />Due to the geographic situation of this building, a special authorization will be needed to close <br />off the street directly under the South side of this building to provide a safe and secure working <br />place, for both, our employees and the civilians traveling by during the reroofing process and to <br />allow for a scaffolding to be installed. <br /> <br />Our price for the above outlined work is $13,444.00 plus 7.5% tax ($1,008.30) for a total cost <br />of $14,452.00 <br /> <br /> <br />Doctor’s Office: <br /> <br />The West side of this roof has rotten shingles along with a few split and fallen shingles.
