May 2, 1960, minutes continued <br />V? <br />The County Accountant informed the Board of the offer made by Mr. Painter, District Engineer <br />of the State Highway Commission, to resurface the parking lot now being used by County employees <br />and the public, at a price of J900.00. <br />The Board suggested that the County Accountant investigate the various means available for <br />fencing the courthouse parking lot. <br />Upon motion of Cammissioner Stanford, seconded by Commissioners Jones, and unanimously adopted, <br />the County Accountant was authorized to purchase two air conditioning units which are to be <br />installed in the Commissioners- room. <br />The A.B.C. Board and the auditor for said Hoard presented to the Commissioners the first <br />quarter audit for the calendar year of 1967. <br />Harry Woods, Chairman of the Study Committee on Zoning Rural Organization of Orange County, <br />requested that the necessary steps to appoint a County Planning Board, whose duty it would be <br />to formulate preliminary plans for a zoning ordiance for the rural sections of the county, be appoic <br />Upon motion of Commissioners Jones, seconded by Commissioner Walker, and unanimously adopted, <br />the plans of the County Zoning Committee was accepted, and recommendations for the members of <br />said Planning Board are to be submitted at the June meeting. <br />The following names were drawn to serve as jurors for the June 27th term of Civil Court. <br />1.
