He said all partners have agreed that some form of <br /> 30 reconfiguration of the headwaters preserve is appropriate. <br /> 31 Commissioner Dorosin clarified that the map itself has not yet been re-configured. <br /> 32 Travis Myren said no, none of the property lines have changed. <br /> 33 Commissioner Dorosin asked if the concept of this is for the headwaters preserve to still <br /> 34 be solely owned by Orange County. <br /> 35 Travis Myren said the County would retain sole ownership of the 60 acres. <br /> 36 <br /> 37 2020 Greene Tract Resolution and Environmental Assessment Interlocal Agreement <br /> 38 • 2020 Resolution Supersedes Prior Action <br /> 39 o Maintains Agreement on Number of Acres Designated for Different Land Uses <br /> 40 • Includes Five (5) Major Provisions: <br /> 41 1. Jointly pursue an environmental assessment of the entire 164 acres to consider <br /> 42 designating the most environmentally sensitive area as the Headwaters Preserve. The <br /> 43 cost of this analysis will be shared among the parties, 43% Orange County, 43% Town <br /> 44 of Chapel Hill, 14% Carrboro. <br /> 45 Total Cost Estimated - $40,000 <br /> 46 Orange County Share - $17,200 <br /> 47 2. Jointly pursue a Memorandum of Understanding for future decision-making <br /> 48 processes. This document will be used to ensure the parties participate in good faith in <br /> 49 the planning process for potential development of the Greene Tract. The document will <br /> 50 describe community outreach efforts. <br />
