Minimize production of greenhouse gases. <br /> All of the proposed climate change mitigation projects will minimize the production of <br /> greenhouse gases, reducing Orange County's contribution to the adverse impacts of climate <br /> change on human and natural resources both inside and outside of the County. <br /> RECOMMENDATION(S): The Manager recommends that the Board <br /> • Consider the climate change mitigation projects that could be funded through the FY <br /> 2019-20 Orange County Climate Action Tax, and the initial ranking by the Commission <br /> for the Environment; and <br /> • Approve funding for the recommended Climate Action Tax projects for FY 2019-20 as <br /> outlined in the attached report. <br />
