2 <br />Downs Drive Rosena Court: Residents of Downs Drive (6 homes) and Rosena Court (3 homes), in <br />Highland Downs Subdivision, have petitioned NCDOT to accept maintenance responsibilities for <br />those roads., Highland Downs Subdivision, approved by the Board in 1987, is located off the <br />northeast side of Highland Farm Road (SR 1332), Cheeks Township. <br />Sto erid a Place: Residents of Stoneridge Place (4 homes)'' in Stoneridge Subdivision Section <br />One, have .petitioned NCDOT to accept maintenance responsibilities for those roads. Stoneridge <br />Subdivision, approved by the Board in 1978, is located off the east side of Turkey Farm Road (SR~ <br />1730), Chapel Hill Township. ' <br />NCDOT has investigated these requests (see attached Secondary Road Addition Reports) and <br />has submitted the petitions to the Boarcl of Commissioners for its review and approval. The Board <br />must take an administrative action to approve the petitions to NCDOT in order for NCDOT to accept <br />the roads into the State Maintenance Program. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT. There is no direct financial impact associated with this decision item. <br />RECOMMENDATION(S): The Administration recommends that the Board approve the requests to <br />add the above named roads to the State Secondary Road Maintenance Program. <br />
