<br />Start-un Annual Cost <br />The Severely Disabled Older_Population <br />Goal l[V-A: Orange County residents who require long term care services <br />will have access to a continuum of quality care and will be treated with <br />dignity and respect. <br />Lona Term Care Services -Provide appropriate and quality caze that promotes <br />the health, dignity, and rights of older persons. (page 28) <br />al) Establish an Orange County Lang Term Caze Roundtable (OCLTCR) <br />comprised of regulators, advocates, and service providers ,which will work <br />' to define, address, and resolve issues related to the long term care population. $500 <br />a5) Expand an "Emergency Medical Information Program which provides <br />personal medical information Packets to seniors accessible to emergency <br />personnel when needed. (Cast - Design/print packets) $2,000 <br />Goal lv-B: Orange County will be a model county in adhering to or <br />surpassing federal and state guidelines (e.g.1987 OB1ZA) which address <br />residcnts' rights, quality of care,. and quality of life in long term care facilities. <br />uali of Care Provision -Estab 'sh count mechanisms for mai t ' d <br />improving_the quality of long term facilities. (pale 32) <br />$500 <br />a2) Present "business of excellence awards", endorsed by the County <br />Commissioners, to long term caze facilities that meet and /or surpass federal <br />and state guidelines. Administration and Coordination of Aging Services <br />Goal VI-A: To improve the efficiency and effectiveness of Orange County's <br />administration and funding of aging services now and in the future. <br />a3) Provide administrative support to the new Orange County Long Term Care <br />Roundtable.
