Additional site visits beyond the quantity listed will not be performed without approval of Summit. 11. Coordinate and correspond with Summit during construction and will review and comment on portions of the contractor's project schedule,requested modifications to the design,resolution of technical issues, review of payment applications, and evaluation of field or change orders pertaining to waterproofing and building exterior repairs. 12. Attend the Pre-Final (Substantial Completion) Inspection and develop a punchlist of waterproofing and building exterior repair items that are incomplete or require repair. Attend Final Completion Inspection to confirm the completion of punchlist work. 13. Post Construction Phase: Review closeout documentation from the Contractor pertaining to waterproofing and building exterior repairs and provide As-Built Drawing sheets for inclusion in the record drawings etc. The As-Built Drawing sheets will be provided to Summit in electronic format(.pdf). Fee for Professional Services Based on our experience with similar projects,we are proposing the following engineering fee for the above proposed scope of design,bidding and construction administration services: Doc. Review and Fieldwork: $ 9,600 Design Development(25%CD): $ 3,510 Construction Document(75%): $ 6,450 Construction Document(100%): $ 2,500 Construction Document(Bid Documents) $ 1,200 Coordination Meetings During Design: $ 2,200 Bidding and Contract: $ 1,000 Construction Administration: $ 12,650 Post Construction: $ 800 Total Engineering Fee: $39,910 Breakdown of the above Engineering Fee by Facility is as follows: Whitted Complex: $ 12,410 Board of Elections: $ 10,600 Sheriff's Office: $ 9,050 Public Transportation: $ 7,850 Additional Services*: Coordination Meetings: $350 ea.by Phone/$750 ea. at Summit's Office Site Visit During Construction: $1,250 per visit Masonry Destructive Testing: Cost+ 1.2 (Estimate of$3,500 recommended) *Additional Services will not be performed without approval from Summit Design and Engineering Services. All fees shown are based upon the provision of our standard insurance coverages and payment terms not to exceed 90 days and not based on payment from the Owner. If additional insurance coverage or payment terms will be required, please notify us to allow for review and potential revision of proposed scope and engineering fee.
