Atlas will respond to Owner and Summit review <br /> comments during this design phase. <br /> 5. Construction Documents (100% and Bid Documents): Submit Construction Documents <br /> (100% completion) including complete design drawing sheets and technical specification <br /> sections for waterproofing and building exterior repairs. Owner and Summit review comments <br /> from the 75% Construction Documents will be discussed and incorporated into the 100% <br /> Construction Document package. Following review/approval of the 100% Construction <br /> Documents, final comments will be incorporated and drawings and specifications will be <br /> resubmitted for inclusion in the Bid Documents. Bid Documents and 100% Construction Bid <br /> Documents will be signed and sealed by a Professional Engineer registered in the State of North <br /> Carolina. These documents will be provided to Summit in electronic format(.pdf). <br /> 6. Coordination Meetings During Design: Atlas will attend coordination meetings by <br /> conference call or at the office of Summit Design in Hillsborough,NC as requested during the <br /> fieldwork, evaluation, and design phase to discuss project progress, recommendations, and to <br /> coordinate work scope. Our proposed fee will be based on a total of four (4) coordination <br /> meetings (two conference calls and two meetings in Hillsborough). Additional meetings can <br /> be requested at provided unit rate costs. <br /> Bidding Assistance <br /> 7. Attend Pre-Bid Meeting and respond to technical questions associated with waterproofing and <br /> building exterior repair during the bid process. Review requests for substitutions and issue <br /> addenda associated with waterproofing and building exterior repair sheets and specifications <br /> as necessary. <br /> Construction and Post Construction Phase <br /> 8. Attend a Pre-Construction Meeting prior to the start of work. Review proposed substitutions <br /> and/or changes from Atlas specifications and drawings details proposed by the Contractor. <br /> 9. Review contractor's technical submittals pertaining to waterproofing and building exterior <br /> repair to confirm conformance with the technical specifications and drawings. Return <br /> submittals to Summit with approvals or direction on additional action. <br /> 10. Perform periodic visits to the sites during construction to observe work in-progress and provide <br /> a summary email with color photographs of work in progress. <br /> • Site visits reports will discuss work in progress,observations made, and corrective actions <br /> needed. Some of the site visit inspections will be coordinated with the Contractor to allow <br /> for observation of representative installations and milestone events. Some inspections will <br /> not be coordinated in advance with the Contractor to allow for observation of standard <br /> work practices. <br /> • Our proposed scope and associated fees are based on performance of six (6) visits to the <br /> site. Each site visit shall be equivalent to approximately 3-4 hours on site and may be <br /> divided between multiple sites. <br /> • If the project duration extends significantly due to failure of the Contractor to complete the <br /> waterproofing or building exterior work in a timely manner, or if a significant number of <br /> additional site visits become necessary due to quality issues/concerns with the installation <br /> by the Contractor, Atlas will communicate promptly with Summit to determine whether <br />
