• Had press conference yesterday about the Dementia Friendly Community initiative. In it’s <br />pilot phase, 10 businesses have expressed interest so far. After that, 90 minute training <br />will be available to other businesses. Businesses will come back in a year to be recertified. <br />New clinical service will roll out in January. <br />• Direct Care Worker award nominations will be opening up soon. You can nominate people <br />on-line and in hard copy which will help make it easier for residents to make nominations. <br />• Yvonne has been appointed to Advisory Board on Aging.
