DocuSign Envelope ID:8A5F8010-951 D-410A-B360-CA37BA1 E9CA4
Attachment A — Scope Description
Lake Orange — Repair of Non-functioning Electrical Outlet Box
Scope Description:
• No utility location is required. This project is located entirely within Orange County
property. The project site address is 1221 Lake Orange Road, Hillsborough, NC
27278. See Attachment B for the location of the project. See Attachment C for site
photograph of the proposed work area.
• Provider shall hold an active electrical contractor license from the North Carolina
State Board of Examiners and Electrical Contractors (BEEC).
• Provider shall supply all labor and materials for diagnosis and repair of an existing
non-functioning outdoor electrical outlet box located at the Lake Orange SCADA
control panel.
o Remove and dispose of existing outdoor electrical outlet box and install new
120V exterior GFCI outlet box with weatherproof cover.
o Scope DOES NOT include permitting, as the need for an electrical permit is
not anticipated at this time. If the Provider determines from their site
diagnosis that work must be performed inside the breaker box, an electrical
permit will be required with the Orange County Building Inspections Division.
Provider shall obtain, at its sole expense, all required permits. All work shall
meet code and pass inspection. If the Provider determines that an electrical
permit is needed, the Provider's contract with Orange County will be
amended to include the costs associated with permitting.
