2 � THE ALLIANCE REVIEW <br /> Banc of America Historic Tax Credit Fund <br /> The National Trust, in alliance with the Bank of America, have created the - <br /> Banc of America Historic Tax Credit Fund , LP managed by the National Trust <br /> for Historic Preservation. The fund will invest $ 25 million in historic rehab ' 'ta- <br /> tion projects eligible for both federal and state historic tax credits located in the <br /> 21 states . Unlike the typical tax credit fund that invests in low income housing <br /> tax credits and ` occasionally a historic property, this fund is exclusively focused <br /> tax credit equity to projects that contribute to the revital- <br /> on providing historic <br /> ization of downtowns and neighborhoods commercial and residential areas . <br /> For further information, email comet partners@nthp .org or call Community <br /> Partners at (202). 58&6054. The <br /> HBO Resource . Center will maintain a list on the web <br /> of those communities who have added their guide- <br /> lines to the collection .
