2 � THE ALLIANCE REVIEW Banc of America Historic Tax Credit Fund The National Trust, in alliance with the Bank of America, have created the - Banc of America Historic Tax Credit Fund , LP managed by the National Trust for Historic Preservation. The fund will invest $ 25 million in historic rehab ' 'ta- tion projects eligible for both federal and state historic tax credits located in the 21 states . Unlike the typical tax credit fund that invests in low income housing tax credits and ` occasionally a historic property, this fund is exclusively focused tax credit equity to projects that contribute to the revital- on providing historic ization of downtowns and neighborhoods commercial and residential areas . In an effort to publicize the rapid- ly growing number and importance of historic district design guidelines , the HB Owens Resource Center at the School of Environmental Design, University of Georgia has begun a collection in partnership with the National Alliance of Preservation Commissions . The HBO Resource . Center will maintain a list on the web of those communities who have added their guide- lines to the collection .
