None <br /> AGENDA ITEM # 1 : CALL TO ORDER <br /> Golan called the meetingorder t 00 to e r a 7 . 0 p .m . <br /> AGENDA ITEM #2 : CONSIDERATIONS OF ADDITIONS TO AGENDA <br /> i <br /> There were no additions to the agenda . <br /> AGENDA ITEM #30 CHAIR COMMENTS <br /> Golan reported that he has scheduled a meeting with the editor of the News of Orange to talk about HPC <br /> ideas . Golan also reported that Nicholas Corbett Hester house on Hwy . 86 is being renovated and <br /> suggested that staff send the new owners information regarding the Local Landmark Program . Moon <br /> said that she had already made contact with the new owners and would gladly send them the materials . <br /> i <br /> Golan reported speaking with Kathleen Turner, of the Hillsborough Preservation Alliance , regarding better <br /> communication between the town and the county . He invited Turner to meet with the HPC later this <br /> spring on an informal basis to see how we can all work together. Moon reported that she had spoken to <br /> Ms . Turner recently regarding a number of issues , and that Ms . Turner provided information about an <br /> African American community group in the northern part of the county . The HPC had expressed concern <br /> over of how to include African -American sites in the architectural history book without a clear link to <br /> specific structures . Turner reported that there still are some sites with surviving buildings linked to the <br /> African -American community . Golan displayed a photographic documentary book of the African - <br /> American community in Vance County . <br /> Golan asked staff to prepare a list of the ideas and discussion topics that the HPC has covered over the <br /> last few meetings for the March meeting .
