April 26 , 2000 <br /> MOTION : Anderson moved . Seconded by Golan . <br /> VOTE : Unanimous , <br /> AGENDA ITEM #4 : CHAIR COMMENTS <br /> Allison reported contact with Dr . Ivey, a local property owner . Dr. Ivey gave his <br /> permission for the HPC to measure Mason Hall , and said that he would be willing to give up his interest <br /> in the house to Hilda Brody , The HPC discussed other related issues : can the structure withstand a <br /> physical move , if the landowner is having difficulties with his health would his heirs consider selling the <br /> land in the future? Preservation North Carolina (PNC) had expressed interest, in the past, of taking on the <br /> project for restoration-resale with covenants .
