01 <br /> DRAFT MINUTES 0 <br /> HISTORIC PRESERVATION COMMISSION <br /> March 22 , 2000 <br /> Members Present : Tom Allison, Chair <br /> Jean Anderson <br /> Carolyn Connor <br /> Rob Golan <br /> Excused Absence : Robert Rich <br /> Staff Present : Tina Moon, Preservation Planner, Carol Crawford, Administrative Assistant, <br /> I AGENDA ITEM # 1 : CALL TO ORDER <br /> Chairman Allison called the meeting to order at approximately 7 * 00 p .m . <br /> AGENDA ITEM #2 : CONSIDERATIONS OF ADDITIONS TO AGENDA <br /> The HPC discussed the house that Hilda Brody had called staff to find out about. It being the Mason Hall <br /> house was ruled out . Anderson to call Ms . Brody and get more details . <br /> Moon asked to add a Lands Legacy Program presentation to the evening agenda . <br /> AGENDA ITEM #3 : APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br /> a. February 23 , 2000 <br /> MOTION : Anderson moved to approve the minutes for February 3 , 2000 . Seconded by Connor . <br /> VOTE : Unanimous , <br /> AGENDA ITEM #4 : CHAIR COMMENTS <br /> Chairman Allison commented that some houses were left off the original inventory because of their poor <br /> rY <br /> condition at the time the inventory was done and at the discretion of the group who did the inventory . <br /> Staff asked if there were other sites that were left off that should have been included . Moon suggested <br /> that the s a p inventory . <br /> n <br /> HPC make a list of those site and update the invento . The HPC said that the condition o d ion of a <br /> house should not have kept it off the original inventory and gave an example of Chatwood . <br /> Golan reported that a historic barn on Bane Road across from the Taylor place completely burned last <br /> week . The barn was noted as quite unique . The importance of photographs of historic inventoried sites <br /> was noted . <br /> AGENDA ITEM #5 : ITEM FOR DISCUSSION <br /> a. St. Mary ' s Road Corr' dor Preservation Planning Study <br /> Moon gave a brief report of the neighborhood informational meeting organized by Nels Anderson held <br /> February24, at the St .
