She was then Production Manager with a trade publisher, Menasha Ridge <br /> Press, for four years before starting BW&A. Her design work has won awards from the Association of <br /> American University Presses and the Philadelphia Book Show, and she has served as a panelist at national MLA <br /> and AAUP conferences. A photographer in a former life, her work has been. exhibited in southeastern regional <br /> shows and sold to the New York Times <br /> Chris Croched re has fourteen years of experience in textbook and trade publishing, including <br /> positions as Production Editor at PWS-Kent Publishing in Boston and as Marketing Manager at Chelsea <br /> Green Publishing in Vermont. Her work at BW&A has included numerous design and typesetting projects as <br /> well as managing the finances of the business. <br /> Julie Allred has been with BW&A since 1995 . An honors graduate of UNC-Chapel Hill and the Carolina <br /> Publishing Institute, one of her accomplishments at BW&A has been the typesetting of a goo-page reference <br /> work for Stanford University Press and the management of its boo pieces of art. She has also completed a <br /> number of design, typesetting, and production projects and is the on-site computer manager. <br />
