Williams : <br /> From our telephone conversation last Thursday, I am providing clarifying information regarding <br /> our Request for 'Proposals : <br /> • Solicitation of historical items, such as old pictures of homes and farmsteads, family portraits, <br /> letters, photographs of commercial enterprises and workaday scenes , and other memorabilia <br /> from citizens for possible inclusion in the publication along with the photos of historical <br /> structures . <br /> The Historic Preservation Commission will select appropriate contributed materials. <br /> The total volume of contributed materials will not exceed 16 additional pages in the <br /> publication . Orange County wishes to consult with the publisher on the technical <br /> aspects of incorporating the contributed materials into the book. <br /> • Dustjacket. <br /> A dustjacket for the publication is desired. Please provide a quote for the dustjacket <br /> at specifications 1'4 color + 1 PMS color". <br /> • Editorial services <br /> The architectural manuscript and the accompanying archeological component are <br /> ready for publishing, so additional editorial services will not be required. However, <br /> you may provide a quote for editorial services as a separate item, if desired. <br />
