The <br /> Commission was outstanding in meeting the requirement for members and staffto participate in <br /> educational and training meetings . The local community benefits from the Commission ' s <br /> increasing knowledge and expertise and from the recognition Orange County receives as a result <br /> of the Commission ' s involvement and leadership in the statewide network of local <br /> preservationists . <br /> Congratulations on the continued certification of Orange County as an important local <br /> government partner in North Carolina ' s historic preservation program .
