Paving of SR 1337 (Bane Road) : Impact on Maude Faucette House (The Elms) <br /> Belk read a letter he drafted from Allison to Margaret Brown regarding the paving of Bane Road <br /> and the impact on the Elms (copy attached to minutes) . The HPC then discussed the letter and <br /> made corrections/additions as needed . <br /> f. Orange County Historical Architecture Manuscript : Draft Request for <br /> Proposals <br /> This item postponed . <br /> AGENDA ITEM #6 : INFORMATIONAL ITEMS <br /> a . Letter from SHPO regarding proposed cellular tower in the Oaks vicinity <br /> b . Alliance for Historic Hillsborough , Fall 1998 newsletter. <br /> c. Museum News : the official newsletter of the Stanley County HPC <br /> Informational only . The Commission discussed the proposed new department which is <br /> scheduled for public hearing on November 4 , 1998 . The HPC expressed concern that the <br /> ill affect their Commission .
